It connects five ways: wired over USB-C, through the plug-and-play 2.4 GHz receiver, or directly to three devices at once with one key to switch between them. The built-in battery runs about 90 hours on a charge and tops up from any 5 V / 1 A USB source, so there are no AAAs to hunt for.
